The pillar of Dr Rajakumar family Raghavendra Rajakumar unveiled the logo of Sandalwood Film Nagar - the dream of his father Dr Rajakumar of film fraternity having a colony.

Raghavendra Rajakumar in his address recollected the first house brought by his father in the then Madras after nine years of his savings. It was brought at Rs.38000 saved by my mother. In those days a number of film personalities were staying adjacent when Kannada filmdom was at Tamil Nadu – Raganna recalled.

At 22 kilometers away from Bangalore city very near to Uppi Resort and Dodda Aladamara (big Banyan Tree) the 98 acres purchased by DK Ramakrishna, Ba Ma Harish, A Ganesh and B Mahadev was inaugurated by Colonel Kharla, CEO of Raynal Realtors Private Limited.
